In December, the most recent expansion at AL!VE opened providing additional programming and services, including both clinical and recreational options for the mid-Michigan community.
Hayes Green Beach Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce construction begins this week on its health park, AL!VE. An expansion will accommodate the growth of the hospital’s cardiopulmonary rehabilitation services, which will move from the hospital’s main campus to AL!VE in 2017.
AL!VE is excited to announce summer field trip options for daycare centers and small children’s groups coordinated through GROW, its children’s recreation and enrichment space.
AL!VE, the experience-based destination health park in Charlotte, Mich., is hosting a Bring Your A Game fund-raiser that features local home and professional chefs competing in a contest similar to shows seen on the Food Network.
The Chef’s Challenge begins at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 23 at AL!VE. Doors open at 6 p.m. and admission is $5 per person or $20 per family. The audience will watch contestants create a delicious meal in 30 minutes using three mystery ingredients and a pantry with more than 50 items.
The Charlotte community will soon soar a little higher thanks to a gift being made by the Charlotte Rotary to the Become AL!VE campaign. The club is also offering an opportunity for the community to help its gift go even further.
The board of directors and members of the Charlotte Rotary Club recently voted to donate $100,000 to AL!VE, which is set to open its first phase in late November. In addition, Rotary is issuing a community match opportunity: Raise $25,000 and Rotary will match it with another $25,000 – for a total gift of $150,000!
