AL!VE Closures Extend Forward

March 23, 2020
Governor Whitmer issued a rescission of Executive Order 2020-9, updating the Executive Order on temporary restrictions on the use of places of public accommodation.
In response to the updated Executive Order from Gov. Whitmer, all non-clinical services at AL!VE will now be closed until Monday, April 13, 2020 at 11:59pm. This includes MOVE (our fitness center), SOAR (our recreation gymnasium), SPARK (CrossFit Fade), NOURISH by The Big Salad, FUSE (our spa), RELISH (our cooking demonstration kitchen), GATHER (our event rental space), EXPLORE (our indoor walking path), GROW (our children’s enrichment area) and all associated programming. We apologize once again for this inconvenience. As a reminder, all active MOVE members will be credited for any time that AL!VE is shut down and refunds will be processed for any program enrollments during the shutdown.
Only essential clinical services at AL!VE, on a patient-by-patient basis, will remain open. AL!VE will be closed outside of clinical hours.  Patients will continue to be required to enter AL!VE through the west, EMPOWER entrance where they will be screened and temperature will be taken prior to their appointment.  Patients will be asked questions pertaining symptoms including body aches or a temperature in the last 24 hours, cough, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and/or sore throat. All those exhibiting these symptoms will be sent home. Any visitors that are not necessary for the provision of medical care or the support of activities of daily living for the Patient will not be permitted to enter the building.  To minimize contact with others, please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early to your appointment.
We continue to work closely with Sparrow Health System to mitigate any risk and follow all CDC recommendations.
NOTE: This policy will be reviewed and renewed as the Executive Order may change over time.
