As you all are now likely well aware, Governor Whitmer issued an Executive Order on temporary restrictions on the use of places of public accommodation effective through March 30, 11:59pm.
In response to the Executive Order from Gov. Whitmer, starting at 3:00pm Mon., March 16, all non-clinical services at AL!VE will be closed. This includes MOVE (our fitness center), SOAR (our recreation gymnasium), SPARK (CrossFit Fade), NOURISH by The Big Salad, FUSE (our spa), RELISH (our cooking demonstration kitchen), GATHER (our event rental space), EXPLORE (our indoor walking path), GROW (our children’s enrichment area) and all associated programming. Clinical services at AL!VE will remain open Monday-Thursday, 6:30am-6:30pm and Friday 6:30am-5:30pm. This includes EMPOWER (physical, occupational and speech therapy, ONMM), cardiopulmonary rehabilitation in BRIDGE and dietetics.
AL!VE will be closed Sat., March 21, Sun., March 22, Sat. March 28 and Sun., March 29.
All Patients will now be required to enter AL!VE through the west, EMPOWER entrance during clinical hours (Monday-Thursday, 6:30am-6:30pm and Friday, 6:30am-5:30pm) where they will be screened and temperature may be taken. They will be asked questions pertaining symptoms including body aches or a temperature in the last 24 hours, cough, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and/or sore throat. All those exhibiting these symptoms will be sent home. Any visitors that are not necessary for the provision of medical care or the support of activities of daily living for the Patient will not be permitted to enter the building.
