Hayes Green Beach Memorial Hospital is excited to welcome all to an evening of creativity and innovation at its fourth annual fund-raising gala from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday, September 15.
This year’s theme is inspired by the George Bernard Shaw quote, “You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine and at last, you create what you will.”
“The theme of ‘create’ will be demonstrated throughout each element at the event,” said Barbara Fulton, HGB director of community development. “From clever photo opportunities and inspired auction items to imaginative food and beverage conceptions, it is our goal to help guests experience HGB in unique and exciting ways.” There will be a distinct focus on the ways that being creative results in innovations, including a special “innovation station” showcasing health-related technologies and advances, as well as inventive gadgets in the silent auction.
HGB’s Development Council has planned an evening of excitement including silent auction items, a 50/50 raffle, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and entertainment. Live music in different areas of AL!VE will range from Donny Brown and the Van Dell Tones, to the harp and hammered dulcimer sounds of Martha and John Kuch. The event is generously supported by Presenting Sponsor MSU Federal Credit Union. This year, for the first time, attendees will have the option to use their smart phones to view and bid on auction items.
The annual gala will be held at AL!VE: Your Community Well-Being Place, located at 800 W. Lawrence Avenue in Charlotte, Mich.
