Historical timeline:

 

  • December 2007: Purchased the property at 800 W. Lawrence, which was formerly the site of the Felpausch grocery store and CVS Pharmacy.

  • May 2008-March 2009: Began "experience design" analysis and development; formed employee and volunteer teams to translate visition into operational recommendations.

  • Spring 2009-Fall 2010: Organized major gifts capital campaign and obtained financing to launch the project.

  • September 2010: Groundbreaking for first phase of AL!VE.

  • Fall 2010: Public capital campaign organized.

  • March 2011: Community donations pass $2 million.

  • Nov. 21, 2011: AL!VE opens; first mammogram scheduled.

  • January 2012: Donations reach $3 million.

  • April 2012: Groundbreaking for next phase of construction

  • December 2012: Opening of AL!VE expansion

  • October 2014: Opening of NOURISH by The Big Salad
