Reminders for MOVE Members

MOVE Members,

As many of you are aware, the Governor lifted the ban on gyms and MOVE could reopen on September 9th. It has been great to see many of you back already and we look forward to seeing the rest of you soon. For those of you that have not returned yet, here are some good things to know:

AL!VE is safe: We have taken all the necessary steps to minimize the possibility of viruses spreading within our facility. Members are screened at the door and no one with symptoms is allowed to enter. Additionally, masks are worn throughout the facility, equipment is properly spaced out and you will be hard-pressed to find any fitness facility that is as clean and as well-sanitized as MOVE.

Masks aren’t ideal, but people are making them work: For those that have health conditions that prevent you from wearing a mask, obviously don’t jeopardize your health to wear one. For everyone else, don’t let a mask become an excuse to not better yourself. If you are not where you want to be from a health standpoint, there is no better place to be than AL!VE and people are here lifting and doing cardio every day, demonstrating that you can still exercise while wearing a mask.

Billing: Now that we are open, all active memberships have been reactivated. Membership charges will resume on October 1st with the credit from the eight days that we were closed in September being applied. If you are not ready to utilize your membership yet, please notify us and we can put your account on hold for no charge until you are ready to return or the end of March, whichever comes first.

We look forward to seeing you all soon. Until then, stay healthy and stay safe. Jake Campbell, BS, CFFDAL!VE Director of Health and WellnessSparrow Eaton HospitalJacob.Campbell@Sparrow.org
